Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking team members for Retail Store Positions across our Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and New Jersey markets. The primary focus is to facilitate orders, receive, store, and stock items while maintaining product freshness and accurate inventory.

In this role you’ll check dates, log losses, assist customers, and support department tasks as needed. You’ll work closely with store leadership to ensure smooth operations and a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must be of minimum age as required by state Liquor code

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift, check equipment and supplies required, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties.
• Complete orders, receive, store, and stock items, check dates, track items going out of code, and perform department tasks as needed.
• Set up and stock end caps and displays, set up new program displays, and perform resets.
• Cut or hit cardboard cartons to flatten them, load onto U-boat, and take to the baler.
• Handle customer transactions and purchases at the register, ensure customer is of age when purchasing alcohol, validate ID, and follow state limits on alcohol purchases.
