Baptist Health is hiring a Part-time Patient Accommodations Coordinator to manage hospital bed allocations and optimize patient flow. This role includes day shifts with one 7A-7P shift per week and rotating weekend coverage, supporting efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years in medical office or related experience. Preferred: an associate degree and hospital services/medical insurance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of medical office or related experience required.
• Associate's degree in healthcare related field preferred.
• Previous experience in hospital services and medical insurance preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage and optimize the allocation of hospital beds to ensure efficient patient flow, maximize bed utilization, and facilitate timely admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain real-time bed availability information, coordinating bed assignments, and communicating with various departments to streamline patient movement within the hospital.
