Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean Point Resort is seeking a part-time Beach Server/Barista to split time between barista and beach service roles. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with a positive, guest-focused attitude in Sunny Isles Beach, FL.

The role requires excellent communication, quick service, and the ability to work a flexible 7-day schedule, including nights and weekends. Previous server experience is preferred and a strong team spirit is essential.

Description

DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean Point Resort, a Colwen Hotels property, is seeking an experienced and friendly Part Time Beach Server/Barista to join our team. In this position you will split your time between the Barista and Beach Server position. In this role you will provide memorable experiences for our guests. You will need to be quick on your feet, have a positive upbeat attitude, and enjoy talking to people. If this sounds like you, we would like to meet you!

General Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting (use guest name whenever possible)
• Take orders from guests and deliver to appropriate person to execute
• Answer questions regarding the menu
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver to the kitchen
• Delivers food, beverages, condiments and other requested items
• Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest’s satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked items to the kitchen
• Collect plates and clear table as guests finish their meal
• Adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies
• Clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures
• Ensure sideboards are adequately stocked
• Set tables to standards, and that all items are clean and in good repair
• Prepare guest checks and collect payment
• Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments
• Perform other related duties as assigned, you may required to perform a variety or duties in multiple departments during a shift
