Morrison Living is hiring immediately for part-time Cook positions at the Solheim Senior Community in Los Angeles, CA 90041. Location: 2236 Merton Avenue. Schedule: Sunday–Tuesday, hours may vary. Prior batch cooking experience is required. Pay range: $23.00–$24.00 per hour.

• Prior batch cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portions and temperatures; ensures food is attractive and tasty.
• Maintains records from area worked during service and follows established ticket procedures.
• Keeps kitchen clean, stores excess food per safe handling procedures, and maintains refrigeration spaces.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety procedures; reports maintenance needs to supervisor.
