Description

Summary: The bartender provides exceptional service by preparing alcoholic beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to all legal and safety regulations. Responsibilities include handling cash and merchandise, maintaining cleanliness, promoting programs, and complying with laws and policies. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and complete all required training and permits.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare alcoholic beverages as per company directions.
  • Adhere to all laws regarding alcohol service.
  • Maintain current alcohol certification and training.
  • Ensure attendance and punctuality.
  • Handle cash, merchandise, and operate equipment.
  • Follow all safety, cleaning, and store procedures.
  • Use sales techniques like upselling.
  • Provide excellent guest service, greeting and thanking guests.
  • Accurately manage cash drawers and inventory.
  • Follow all legal requirements regarding breaks and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; progress towards or completion of cast and concession certifications.
  • Must complete legally required training and obtain necessary certificates.
  • Possess good communication, math, and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle customer interactions professionally.
