Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring part-time bartenders for Meyerson, Dallas, TX. Shifts are Thu–Sat evenings and Sun daytime, with a pay rate of $15–$30 per hour. Two years of bartending experience is preferred. This role includes beverage service, bar setup, stock management, cash handling, and adherence to liquor regulations.

Qualifications

• Two years of bartending experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves beverages to guests in bar area in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.
• Sets up assigned bars; requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
• Maintains stock, prepares garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
• Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Takes and processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using recipes; controls portions.
• Checks guests for proper identification; detects and acts on intoxication per liquor laws.
• Receives cash, makes change, verifies charges; records and ensures vouchers are correct.
• Locks up and stores beverage products, deposits and cash drops; secures bank.
• Performs cleaning tasks and keeps area clean; arranges bottles for display; sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
