Job summary

The Dextro Hotel a BW Premier Collection in Downtown/Little Italy, San Diego, is seeking a part-time bartender to ensure guests enjoy expertly crafted drinks and stellar service. You will work Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, contributing to a welcoming bar atmosphere in a premier hotel.

You will maintain bar supplies, know drink recipes, handle cash with MICROS, anticipate guest needs, resolve complaints, and participate in liquor liability training every two years.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar supplies and prepare daily requisitions.
• Be familiar with liquor, recipes, prices, glassware and garnishes.
• Know drink recipes, prices and beverage availability.
• Handle cash with MICROS/ registers and tipping policies; ensure accurate charges.
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive relations; resolve complaints.
• Complete liquor liability training within 30 days and every 2 years.
