Job summary

Casanova Restaurant in El Paso, TX is seeking an experienced Part-Time Bartender to join our busy bar and dining room. You will mix and serve beverages, greet guests, and ensure responsible alcohol service while maintaining a clean, organized bar.

This role requires customer focus, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Must have or be able to obtain a TABC certification and comfortable handling payments using a POS system.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Current TABC Certification required or the ability to obtain certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and mixed drinks.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner and provide outstanding service.
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Take food and beverage orders from bar guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including stocking supplies and garnishes.
• Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
• Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor laws.
• Complete opening, side work, and closing duties as assigned.
