Job summary

NorthPointe Hospitality in Charleston, SC is seeking experienced Bartenders/Bar Servers who deliver award-winning service and demonstrate exceptional salesmanship to meet company-wide profitability targets.

You will promote beverages, follow brand protocols, and ensure clean, safe work areas. Experience in bartending/servers and the ability to handle high-volume shifts are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Award-winning service evidenced by Hilton Guest Service scores.
• Prior bartender/server experience required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during high-volume times to achieve service/food & beverage targets.
• Confident, self-driven and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Promotes, upsells and enhances beverage products and services to all guests and patrons.
• Strictly follows brand protocols regarding service delivery.
• Ensures ServSafe beverage protocols are understood and followed.
• Maintains clean, safe and organized work areas; preps for following day’s business.
• Works banquet functions as needed and is flexible during peak periods.
• Ensures table settings are clean and presented professionally.

Responsibilities

• Promotes, up-sells and enhances the beverage products and services to all guests and patrons.


• Strictly follows company-wide and brand protocols regarding service delivery.


• Ensures ServSafe beverage protocols are personally understood and followed at all times.


• Maintains exceptionally clean, safe and organized work areas at all times. Preps accordingly for follow day’s business.


• Works banquet functions as needed - must be highly flexible in work schedule during high volume and holiday periods.


• Ensures table settings are clean and professionally presented at all times. Self-buses.

Qualifications

• Foremost, must be able to provide Award Winning Service by exceeding brand standards by evidence of Hilton Guest Service scores. Must be a Team player and interact exceptionally well with other departments and fellow associates.


• Prior Bartender/server experience required.


• Excellent time management, organizational and self- management skills.


• Ability to work under pressure during high volume times to achieve Service and F&B sales budgets/targets.


• Confident, self-driven, dynamic and loves to learn. Has a strong ability to take direction and suggestion from others.


• Loves the interaction with the public, extroverted personality – genuine care for others demonstrated by daily interactions.
