Job summary

Olympia Hospitality in Cape Elizabeth, ME is seeking a bartender to connect with guests and craft beverages in a fast-paced, friendly bar environment.

You will verify ages, mix traditional and modern drinks, handle payments, manage inventory, and keep the bar area clean and stocked. Previous bartending experience and a responsible, customer-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (per state law).
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience; TIPS certified preferred.
• Allergy awareness training helpful.

Responsibilities

• Verify age requirements and serve drinks accordingly.
• Know alcohol pairings and tastes; craft traditional and classy drinks.
• Process payments and manage bar transactions.
• Monitor inventory and maintain bar supplies.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized and well stocked.

Skills Required

• Provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure.

Experience / Education

• Previous bartending experience preferred; must be of legal age in order to serve alcohol, per state law; high school diploma and/or equivalent work experience; TIPS certified preferred; Allergy Awareness training helpful.
