Job summary

SpartanNash, located at 601 Division Street South, Northfield, Minnesota 55057, is hiring a part-time Barista to join our coffee shop team. You will prepare beverages and food, operate the cash register, and help maintain an inviting, safe store environment.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, plus retail experience and strong customer service skills. This role offers part-time hours with benefits following eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee shop beverages according to set standards.
• Prepare food items according to procedures.
• Operate cash register and process payments (cash, card, gift certificates, etc.).
• Stock items and rotate coffee products and merchandise displays.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with safety guidelines.
• Assist with other departments as needed per store requirements.
