Job summary

The Human Bean Newberg, Oregon is hiring a Part Time Barista to join our team. You will craft quality beverages and food to standard recipes, greet guests, and deliver fast, friendly service at the drive-thru or in-store windows.

Applicants should be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Local wage starts at 18 USD per hour and opportunities for growth exist within a vibrant community-focused coffee shop.

Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends & holidays

The pay range for this role is:

Local Minimum Wage - 18 USD per hour
