Job summary

Eurest is seeking a part-time barista at the Capital One Café in Somerville, MA. You will craft coffee and espresso beverages, handle food items, and serve customers with a friendly, efficient approach.

Responsibilities include taking orders into the POS, handling cash or card payments, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding HACCP standards. Weekend availability and hospitality experience preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Part-time availability and weekend shifts.
• Able to handle cash and card payments.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction.
