Job summary

Compass Group USA, Eurest, is hiring a part-time BARISTA for Capital One Cafe in Somerville, MA. You will prepare coffee and espresso drinks, serve customers, and maintain a clean, welcoming station in a fast-paced environment.

Weekend availability is required. Prior hospitality experience is preferred, and on-the-job training is provided to help you deliver great service and uphold HACCP standards in every shift.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work on weekends.
• Strong customer interaction and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso drinks and beverages for customers using standard recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into a POS device and handles payments.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the service area and equipment.
• Ensures proper food handling and serving temperatures according to HACCP guidelines.
• Greets customers and assists in the buying decision-making process.
