Too Sweet Cakes in Gilbert, AZ is hiring a Part-Time Barista to join our bakery team. The role requires 24-30 hours per week, a $15–$17 per hour wage plus tips, and open availability including weekends.

You’ll craft beverages, heat pastries, and deliver friendly service in a fast-paced front-of-house setting. Candidates should have 1–2 years in barista or customer service roles, a Food Handlers Certificate, and a passion for high-quality food and drinks.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of barista or customer service experience preferred.
• Food Handlers Certificate required or ability to obtain one.
• Passion for the food and beverage industry with high quality products.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer needs.
• Open availability and flexible scheduling.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50–75 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and specialty beverages.
• Heat and serve pastries while maintaining quality.
• Assist customers with recommendations and upsell.
• Operate the POS system accurately.
• Keep workspace clean and compliant with health regulations.
• Work with back-of-house team for smooth operations.
• Manage storage and monitor shelf life for freshness.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items.
• Attend to daily service goals with urgency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Front of House Manager.
