Job summary

Jaunt Coffee Roasters is hiring baristas for our Miramar / Mira Mesa roastery/shop location. Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year barista experience and familiarity with Specialty Coffee, though newcomers are welcome.

The role blends front-of-house and kitchen tasks with cross-training and requires availability Monday through Sunday, 18–28 hours per week, with Sundays a must. We value genuine customer service, reliability, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year barista experience preferred
• Familiar with Specialty Coffee
• Customer service oriented and genuine
• Open to cross-training front of house and kitchen

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive customer service
• Prepare and serve coffee and espresso beverages
• Assist in kitchen/assembly as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and shop area
• Work a variety of shifts including weekends
