MOKAS Coffee & Eatery, a JRI Hospitality Brand, is hiring Barista Team Members to welcome guests and deliver hospitality in a fast-paced cafe setting. You will greet customers, take orders, brew coffee, prepare sandwiches, and keep the dining area clean and inviting.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a friendly attitude. This part-time role offers a casual dress code, opportunities to grow within a growing company that operates over 80 restaurants across 11 states.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Stand and move quickly during shifts with balance.
• Lift and move items up to 30 pounds.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication required.
• Willingness to work all stations including lobby, front register, drive-thru, and kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Hospitality-focused greeting of guests and offering helpful food, drink, and service suggestions.
• Prepare sandwiches, brew coffees, run the register, and handle drive-thru with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety to ensure a welcoming guest experience.
• Collaborate with team members and keep management informed on guest needs.
• Deliver quality food and beverages and support a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Barista Team Member Select Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Hospitality focused always, greeting guests, answering questions, and making helpful suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
• Takes pride in all aspects of their work, whether making sandwiches, brewing coffees, running the register, doing drive-thru, or focusing on cleanliness.
• Attentive in the Restaurant, sensing customer needs and keeping their manager and fellow team members informed on an ongoing basis.
• Prepares and delivers food and drinks with quality in mind, consistently meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
• A collaborative team member, always willing to play a role in making the work environment a warm and welcoming place.
• Recognizes how critical cleanliness and safety are to the Guest experience, the quality of the product and the success of the Restaurant.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older. Successful team members consistently demonstrate exceptional hospitality and guest service, dependability, attention to detail, initiative, and teamwork.
• Ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility during the work shift, have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel.
• Have the ability to lift and move items frequently weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communications skills are required.
• Willingness to work all stations including lobby, front register, drive-thru, and kitchen positions
