Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians in Mount Vernon, IL invites a part-time bariatric surgeon to join a national wound care group. Work hours typically 7am-4pm, 3 days per week, with no nights, no calls, and no weekend responsibilities.

You will provide bedside wound care in post-acute settings and participate in weekly rounds across affiliated facilities. The role emphasizes autonomy and flexible scheduling, with paid training during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Mobile practice visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• See approximately 20–30 patients per day during rounds.
