Job summary

Austin Country Club in Austin, TX seeks a part-time Multi-Outlet Barback to support bar operations and ensure a premier member experience. You will stock and prep supplies, assist bartenders, and help with club events while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year restaurant/bar ops experience, knowledge of beer, wine and liquor, and strong communication. TABC and Texas Food Handlers certs are required; club experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a restaurant supporting bar operations.
• Base knowledge of Beer, Wine, and Liquor.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• TABC and Texas Food Handlers certifications.
• Club experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team Player.
• Ability to present yourself clean and professional.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supplies while keeping bar operations running smoothly.
• Assist bartenders by maintaining clean, organized stations and preparing garnishes, glassware, and equipment.
• Support daily service, special events, and club functions by transporting inventory, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining a professional member experience.
