Watermill Kitchen + Bar in Coralville, IA, is seeking a friendly part-time server to deliver elevated hospitality in a fast-paced setting within the Hyatt Regency Coralville complex. You will take and input orders, upsell, and ensure accuracy while providing impeccable guest service.

Responsibilities include presenting dessert menus, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to liquor regulations. Competitive perks and generous tips accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English to understand menus and promotions.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Ability to transport large trays up to 30 lbs.
• Proficient with POS keyboard for ordering and closing checks.
• Prior food and beverage/hospitality experience preferred.
• Maintain uniform guidelines.
• Knowledge of wine varieties and liquor.
• Learn five tiers of liquor and appropriate glassware.
• Maintain service standards and etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, explain specials, and upsell when possible.
• Take and enter orders into the POS system accurately.
• Ensure items meet specifications and adhere to liquor regulations.
• Present dessert menu and serve desserts or specialty coffees.
• Present checks promptly and process payments.
• Restock condiments and keep service areas clean.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
• Assist host/ess with greeting guests and handling coats when needed.
