Job summary

Drury Inn & Suites in Coralville, IA is hiring for a restaurant/bar team member. This role opens and closes the bar, prepares drinks, serves guests, and supports kitchen duties as needed.

Starting pay at $13/hour with tips bringing earnings to $20–$30/hour. Evening hours (5pm–12am) and weekend shifts required. We offer incentives, health benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• One year of bartending experience required; two+ years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; two years of college preferred.
• Ability to obtain certifications per Company requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Able to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to handle money, make change, and use cash registers.
• Familiar with POS software and kitchen/bar equipment.
• Excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
• Open and close bar and maintain supplies.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the hotel bar following Company policies.
• Maintain food prep and hotel bar area in a clean, organized manner.
• Serve guests and provide hospitality with high standards.
• Answer questions about the hotel, area, and events.
