Job summary

Auro Hotels is seeking a skilled Banquet Bartender to join the AC Hotel team in downtown Greenville. You will prepare and serve beverages at banquet events, delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include bar setup, mixing drinks, maintaining compliance with liquor laws, and coordinating with event staff to ensure seamless service. Part-time hours up to 30 per week are available.

Qualifications

• Previous bartender experience, preferably in banquet or catering.
• Knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage pairings.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down the banquet bar per event specifications.
• Mix, garnish, and serve beverages following recipes and company standards.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws and company policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and restocking supplies.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner and respond to their beverage requests.
• Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption and follow procedures for handling intoxicated patrons.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control and report shortages or overages.
• Work closely with banquet servers and event staff for seamless service.
• Part-time hours available (up to 30 per week).
