Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker to assist in sales, products, or service activities in coordination with the customer service team.

The role focuses on fostering customer relations to build loyalty and help increase sales to individual consumer clients. It is a part-time position based in Van Nuys, California, with a base salary range shown and prorated for part-time hires. Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer issues promptly
• Support sales/service activities within the branch through seminars and events
• Adhere to controls to ensure safety and security of customer and bank assets
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations
