Job summary

Merchants Bank in Apple Valley is seeking a part-time Teller to join our team. The position is 15-20 hours per week with hours varying to cover branch hours Monday-Friday and a Saturday rotation.

You will provide excellent customer service, handle cash transactions, and cross-sell banking products. One year of cash handling and customer service experience is preferred, with strong accuracy and a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Strong computer system proficiency.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to maintain concentration and focus on customer service in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of general bank products and services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers.
• Process all types of banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Balance cash drawer and maintain cash and coin supply.
• Build relationships with customers to understand financial goals.
