Job summary

The Washington School of Ballet seeks an energetic Part-time Faculty member for the Southeast Campus (THEARC) to teach ballet technique to children aged 2 to 10. The role requires solid classical ballet knowledge, ability to work as part of a team, and experience choreographing for young students while following the school's curriculum.

Based at THEARC in Washington, DC, the candidate will teach Creative Dance through Pre Ballet levels, write student evaluations, and collaborate with the School

Qualifications

• Teaching ballet to children ages 2–10 with curriculum delivery.
• Strong classical ballet knowledge.
• Experience choreographing for young children.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Teach ballet classes in Creative Dance to Pre Ballet levels.
• Choreograph for Pre Ballet 2 & 3 class presentations and spring performances.
