Job summary

SpartanNash's Mishawaka, IN location is seeking a part-time Bakery Associate to prepare, package, and display Bakery products. You will stock the backroom, rotate and date items, and collaborate with the team to drive store performance.

The role requires the ability to follow safety and food safety guidelines, deliver guest-experience standards, and work with others. HS diploma preferred; retail experience helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce Bakery products to production plan.
• Package and label Bakery products per program plan.
• Merchandise Bakery products per Flight plan/Merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with Bakery products; rotate and date cases.
• Notify Bakery Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines; guest experience standards.
• Assist other departments as needed to meet store goals.
