Job summary

Lewis Bakeries, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to stock shelves, rotate products, and create eye-catching displays in local grocery stores. You will use an electronic tablet to conduct daily inventory and maintain merchandising records while delivering friendly customer service.

This role is independent, requires reliability and attention to detail, and offers flexible part-time hours with opportunities to represent Bunny Bread, Lewis Bake Shop, Healthy Life and Sunbeam in the market.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Have access to reliable transportation to assigned store locations.
• Access to a reliable cell phone for communication and job-related tasks.
• Demonstrate dependability, strong communication skills, and ability to build positive relationships with store teams and customers.
• Live locally and be familiar with the assigned service area.
• Maintain a flexible schedule with availability for morning shifts, weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and replenish bakery products to ensure freshness and product quality.
• Build and maintain attractive, organized product displays.
• Complete daily inventory counts using an electronic tablet and merchandising activities.
• Perform light bookkeeping and maintain required inventory and merchandising records.
• Move, lift, and organize stacks of bakery products throughout the store.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs.
• Build positive working relationships with store personnel.
• Follow company merchandising, safety, and food quality standards.
