Job description

Job Overview:

Cub Cambridge is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time donut fryer! The donut fryer provides quality and quantity of batter, quantity of production and practice of safety procedures. Primary learning challenge is on developing quality product consistently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs baking and product preparation
• Prepares and fries batter
• Finishes fried products
• Rotates and stocks bakery products
• Plan, set, and maintain bakery cases
• Assists customers with questions or requests
• Assists in wrapping or bagging products

Job Requirements:

• Equipment operation (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, bakery racks, etc.)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in various temperatures and wet surfaces
• The position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age and older.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces

Schedule:

• 2:00 am – 1:00 pm availability
