Job summary

Retail Bakers of America in Wake Forest, NC seeks a part-time bakery associate who will bake products to our standards and handle processing, packaging and stocking Fresh Foods items while keeping work areas clean and safe.

You will also provide friendly customer service, assist with unloading stock and reloading salvage, and participate in required training to support a fast-paced team and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Associates must be at least 18 years old.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to training.
• Ability to read/understand simple instructions in English; write simple notes.
• Ability to add/subtract using dollars and weight measures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 (sometimes 50) pounds.

Responsibilities

• Bake products to Fresh Foods standards and process/pack items.
• Stock shelves, unload stock, and reload salvage as needed.
• Clean work areas and maintain sanitation throughout shift.
• Provide customer service to shoppers and answer basic questions.
