A leading company in the restaurant industry is seeking a part-time baker for their Charleston location. The role includes baking products, managing stock, and providing exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, a high school diploma, and be prepared to tackle physical demands of the job.
This is a part-time position responsible for baking products according to standards and processing, packaging, and stocking Fresh Foods products according to Fresh Foods Standards. The role also involves cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage.

Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates who speak only English.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Complete company's training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and taste or smell. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must regularly lift/move up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds, and reach from 6-72 inches. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, and depth perception.
Work Environment: Moderate environment with frequent exposure to hot, cool, and extreme cold, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
