Job summary

Harris Teeter in Delaware is hiring a part-time associate to take excellent care of our customers by meeting their needs, bagging correctly, providing carryout and parcel pickup, loading merchandise into vehicles, and returning shopping carts to the rack.

Associates must be at least 16 years old, have strong communication and teamwork skills, read/write in English, and perform basic math. Training will be provided, and you will join a team focused on satisfaction and sales.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract two-digit numbers).
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide bagging according to correct procedures.
• Offer carryout and parcel pickup service.
• Load merchandise into customer vehicles.
• Return shopping carts to the store.
• Assist customers to meet needs and exceed expectations.
