Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate responsible for delivering excellent customer service and meeting customers' needs to create a pleasant shopping experience. The role includes bagging, carryout, parcel pickup, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and returning shopping carts to the store.

Associates must be at least 16 years of age and able to read and understand English, with the ability to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English; ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding expectations.
• Follow bagging procedures, provide carryout and parcel pickup service.
• Load merchandise into customer vehicles and return shopping carts to store.
• Work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
