Job summary

TGK Automotive Specialists in Minnesota is seeking a Part-Time General Service Technician to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, and basic shop duties. The role includes driving customers, picking up parts, and keeping the shop clean.

Compensation is up to $25 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for advancement. Requirements include availability five days a week (including weekends) and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Automotive experience preferred; energetic and hard-working candidates considered.
• Motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using inspection orders/repair orders.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and a safe, inviting work area.
• Transports customers and picks up parts as needed.
• Conducts state inspections where applicable.
