Job summary

Jones Ford Buckeye is seeking a dependable Part-Time Automotive Lot Attendant / Detailer to join our team. If you enjoy vehicles and delivering a clean, professional product, this role offers a flexible part-time schedule.

Responsibilities include washing, detailing, interior cleaning, final inspections, and maintaining a neat lot. Prior detailing or lot experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, wax, and detail vehicles.
• Vacuum, shampoo, clean, and deodorize interiors.
• Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, trim and exterior surfaces.
• Perform final vehicle inspections to meet dealership standards.
• Safely move vehicles between the lot, wash bay and delivery areas.
• Maintain detailing supplies and equipment.

Compensation

• Starting at $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, wax, and detail new and pre-owned vehicles
• Vacuum, shampoo, clean, and deodorize vehicle interiors
• Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, trim, and exterior surfaces
• Perform final quality inspections to ensure every vehicle meets dealership standards
• Safely transport vehicles between the sales lot, service department, wash bay, and customer delivery areas
• Install protective seat covers, floor mats, and steering wheel covers on service vehicles
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional dealership lot
• Perform basic vehicle inspections, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, lights, and overall appearance
• Report any vehicle damage or maintenance concerns to management immediately
• Maintain detailing supplies and equipment
• Assist with lot organization and other dealership duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous automotive detailing, lot attendant, porter, or car wash experience is preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
