Job summary

John Jones Ford of Salem is seeking a dependable Lot Attendant to organize and present the lot, keep vehicles clean and fueled, and support multiple departments as needed. The role emphasizes attention to detail and pride in a professional dealership appearance.

You will move vehicles between departments, assist with deliveries and customer vehicle preparation, install tags and stickers, and monitor lot cleanliness while delivering friendly guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Experience operating automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Dealership experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain vehicle inventory on the lot.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, and properly parked.
• Move vehicles safely between departments and dealership locations.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries and customer vehicle preparation.
• Install dealer tags, stock numbers, and window stickers as needed.
• Monitor lot appearance and keep parking areas clean and organized.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections for damage or low fuel levels.
• Assist sales and service departments with vehicle transportation needs.
• Shuttle vehicles to and from auctions, vendors, or detail departments when required.
• Maintain dealership grounds, including trash removal and lot cleanliness.
• Follow all company safety procedures and driving policies.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests.
