Job summary

SI Group is seeking a student for an Automation Controls Co‑Op at our Rotterdam Junction facility. The position offers part‑time work while completing your degree, with mentorship from experienced engineers on projects ranging from small capital initiatives to day‑to‑day activities.

You will interact with production, logistics, lab, and maintenance on site. Projects include updating graphics with AspenOne, converting calculations using AspenCalc and SQL++, and setting up control system

Qualifications

• Pursuing an engineering or computer science degree.
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the US.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Update AspenOne graphics and documentation.
• Convert OSI Pi calculations and reports using AspenCalc and SQL++.
• Learn control systems programming (Structured text, Function Blocks, SFC, Ladder Logic) and server virtualization.
• Update control system diagrams using AutoCAD and/or Visio.
• Adhere to EH&S regulations and engineering standards; participate in safety audits and training.
