Job summary

The Uftring Auto Group is seeking a part-time Porter to support our service department with traffic flow, vehicle movement, and a customer-friendly experience. The role ensures smooth entry and exit of vehicles from the service lane and parking areas.

Shifts are 12:00 pm–5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with rotating Saturdays. Pay starts at $15.50 per hour, and the package includes PTO, a 401(k) plan, and employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and services.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to communicate well verbally with customers and other contacts.
• Professional, neat personal appearance.
• Good understanding of the Peoria Metro Area streets and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Help process the overnight drop vehicles.
• Install temporary floor mats, seat covers, and tag keys.
• Move and park vehicles.
• Maintain communication with the service staff.
• Operate shuttles to homes and businesses as a back-up, when needed.
