Job summary

AutoZone, Inc. in Indian Trail, NC seeks a part-time Retail Sales Associate to help customers find parts, share automotive knowledge, and uphold store standards.

You will engage with customers, assist with product selection, and learn AutoZone systems to support daily store operations. You’ll work with a friendly team, handle inventory, operate the POS, and support promotions while learning and growing within AutoZone’s retail network.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 to apply.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• ASE Certification is a plus (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment.
• Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products and promotions to enhance customer experience and meet sales goals.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow POS procedures.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Follow structured processes and use PPE to maintain safety.
• Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes and recommend solutions.
