Job summary

AutoZone, Inc. is hiring a Retail Sales Associate for a part-time role in Memphis, TN. You will help customers find the right automotive parts, maintain inventory, and support store operations while delivering WOW!

Customer Service. The position emphasizes teamwork, product knowledge, and safe, friendly service to boost sales and store performance. Responsibilities include assisting customers, promoting products and promotions, and using diagnostics tools when needed.

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years old.
Able to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and overtime.
Basic automotive knowledge preferred.
Strong communication in English and Spanish.
Experience in automotive retail preferred.
ASE Certification required.

Responsibilities

Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions.
Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment.
Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience and meet sales goals.
Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow POS procedures and loss prevention policies.
Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Execute tasks efficiently following safety policies and PPE usage.
Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions via AutoZone systems.
Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes and recommend solutions.
