Job summary

Diamond Buick GMC in Alexandria, MN is seeking a Part-Time Auto Mechanic (Entry to Mid-Level) to join our service team. This role offers weekends with Saturday shifts and optional Friday hours, ideal for gaining hands-on experience while supporting our community.

You will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs, communicate findings to customers, and help keep the shop organized and safe. Prior auto repair exposure is preferred, but a willingness to learn is valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in automotive repair.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and teammates.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics on vehicles.
