Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Part-Time Cashier at Napleton's River Oaks KIA. You will handle transactions, process payments and issue receipts, ensuring accurate totals and friendly service.

We offer paid training, flexible schedule (roughly 20–25 hours weekly), and employee discounts across products, services and vehicles. Prior cashier experience is helpful, automotive dealership exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Cashier experience preferred; automotive dealership experience a plus.
• Strong customer-service orientation and accuracy in handling payments.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills in interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen as required by law.
• 18+ years of age to comply with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Calculate customer bills using the dealership system and process payments (cash, checks, cards).
• Receive payments and issue receipts, ensuring accurate totals.
• Make change accurately and balance at end of shift.
• Record totals and verify against payments received.
• Handle complaints diplomatically and refer to appropriate personnel.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
