Job summary

HearingLife is seeking a Part-Time Audiologist to join our team in Layton, UT. You will diagnose and treat hearing loss, provide hearing tests and fittings, and ensure a positive patient experience while adhering to licensing standards.

Responsibilities include growing patient population, achieving financial KPIs, and supporting Telehealth initiatives. A state audiology license and 2+ years of hearing aid sales experience are preferred. This is a part-time role with Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri.

Qualifications

• Active state license for audiology.
• 2+ years of hearing aid sales experience or equivalent in industry training.
• Part-time availability Monday, Wednesday and Friday as listed in the job post.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care with hearing tests, fittings, and patient education.
• Troubleshoot and repair hearing aids, earmolds, and related devices.
• Support clinic growth and meet financial KPIs while maintaining ethical practices.
• Engage in community outreach and physician relationship-building.
• Counsel patients on instrument purchases and payment options.

Pay: $50/hour + 6% Commission

Responsibilities

You will help more people hear better by providing clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss while ensuring a positive patient experience. You will act in accordance with the required industry and state professional licensing standards. In addition to exceptional patient care you are responsible for growing your patient population and meeting practice financial goals.

• Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
• Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, conducting repairs to hearing aids, earmolds and cleaning of hearing aids.
• Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
• Local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships. You represent HearingLife as an advocate to making a life changing difference.
• Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories. Maintain a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
• Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets working closely with your PCC and Manager to achieve clinics financial KPIs.
• Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care and product portfolio including but not limited conducting hearing tests, coach and educate patients on hearing aid devices.
• Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
• Ability to operate audiometric equipment and to interpret the results.
• Ability to communicate test results and interpret and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients. Communication is key!

Qualifications

• Active License in accordance with state requirements
• 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD
