Job summary

Ritchie Bros. is seeking a Part Time Yard Staff to safely receive, process, line up, and support auction day activities for consigned equipment. The role requires operating heavy and light equipment, performing inspections, and assisting with checkout and lot setup.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a forklift, with prior yard work or equipment handling experience being advantageous. This is a part-time on-site position in Texas.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic maintenance and safety procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives/releases equipment for auction and checks items in/out.
• Lays out equipment for display using an auction listing.
• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs inspections and basic housekeeping or maintenance.
• Operates forklift to load/unload equipment.
• Ensures proper lot numbering and signage for auction day.
• Maintains equipment and adheres to vehicle policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
