Job summary

Cox is seeking a reliable Vehicle Handler to safely drive, stage, and park cars at the auction lot. You will navigate auction lanes on sale days, position vehicles, and assist with basic vehicle servicing as required. This role requires attention to safety rules and good teamwork.

The position offers 3 days per week, 7:00am–3:30pm, with hourly pay of $14.00 and potential overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Safe drivers required; valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to walk long distances.
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale days in a safe manner.
• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to customer dealerships, observing driving rules.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating; inflate tires and jump-start vehicles if needed.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned; may work overtime as needed.
