Job summary

CAE is seeking a Part-time ATP CTP Instructor Pilot in Las Vegas to train military aviators using simulator and ground-school instruction. You will deliver Part 142 training for CAE customers on the Gulfstream-V or E145 platforms, ensuring regulatory compliance and thorough briefings.

Minimum requirements include an FAA ATP certificate, 2+ years in Part 121/135, and English fluency. A related bachelor’s degree is preferred. Night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted FAA ATP certificate.
• At least 2 years of experience in FAA Part 121 or 135 operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to work night shifts as required.
• Complete ATP written exams per regulatory requirements.
• Instructor qualifications per regulatory authority preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Part 142 training to CAE customers.
• Provide ATP/CTP ground school and simulator training sessions on applicable platforms.
• Conduct pre- and post-flight simulator briefings.
• Deliver simulator instruction for licenses, type ratings, and certifications.
• Maintain client training records and handover to other instructors.
• Recommend remedial training when necessary.
• Act as SME in curriculum and courseware development.
