JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Brandywine, located just outside Philadelphia in Media, PA, is seeking Youth Camp Counselors for the Brandywine Athletics multi-sport youth camps. This is a part-time seasonal position. The Youth Camp Counselors will lead the Penn State Brandywine Athletics Youth Camp programs.

Job Duties
  • Manage all operations for the program, including but not limited to:
  • Promoting the camp.
  • Following all university policies regarding youth programming.
  • Creating camp itineraries and effectively implementing the camp.
  • Selecting, training, and supervising camp counselors.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with youth camps.
  • Successful completion of Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal History Background Check.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of job duties; a valid US driver's license and a successful motor vehicle records check are required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
