Job summary

NCSSM in Morganton seeks a Motor Pool Driver to maintain a clean vehicle, perform fluid checks, and serve as a dependable transportation resource for athletic events and Student Life activities.

This temporary, part-time position offers $17/hr non-CDL or $18/hr CDL, requires a valid NC Driver’s License and experience driving 12- and 15-passenger vans, with on-site parking and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid NC Driver’s License required.
• Experience driving a 12- and 15-passenger van.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean vehicle and check fluid levels.
• Report problems/needed repairs to supervisor.
• Obey traffic laws and regulatory requirements.
• Recognize emergencies and follow procedures.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Treat passengers with courtesy and respect.
• Occasionally stay on-site for games as on-call driver capacity.
• Drive for athletic events and matches.
