Part Time Associate Veterinarian - Smith Animal Hospital

Join our team as a Part‑Time Veterinarian with predictable hours and a consistent home hospital assignment. You’ll work alongside a locally led care team supported by national resources, enjoying flexibility while remaining clinically engaged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive patient exams and medical work‑ups
  • Client communication and education
  • Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Pharmacy duties including prescribing medications and controlled substance protocols
  • Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities
  • Evaluate and monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge
  • Monitor cases and attend daily rounds as possible
  • Participate in practice management updates and training
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications (Required)
  • Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university
  • Current State Veterinary License
  • DEA registration
  • 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
