The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is essential to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to deliver excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise with proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for rotation, and stock shelves, displays, and cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards inside and outside the store, including the parking lot.
• Operate cash registers, handle payments, and process refunds as authorized.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping, record damaged or lost goods, and manage store supplies.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and coworkers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, and memos.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Common sense understanding to follow detailed instructions.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally.
