The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product dates for proper rotation, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store and parking lot as directed.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, and process refunds as approved.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcohol.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles upon request.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Extra Bonus Skills

• Basic PC and Outlook skills.
